In a latest news of IIM-Indore, six professors have resigned from their jobs in the past two months. Most of the professors have cited ‘personal reasons’ as the cause of quitting the job. However, highly placed sources claim that in last two months professors have left for greener pasture which has made a dent on the institute’s reputation.

Prof Mahesh Ramamani, one of the eminent professors has  joined an institute in Bangalore and said that, I am not totally detached with IIM-I as I will hold a couple of lectures there. But I have moved to Bangalore for personal reason.

The other two are Prof A Kanagaraj and Prof Pradyumna Dash. Prof Dash is reported to have joined IIM- Raipur as associate professor. He was offered better remuneration and promotion at IIM-Raipur. IIM director Ravichandran had faced charges from seven IIM-I faculty members — PK Singh, DL Sunder, MR Shreenath, Lalitha Sreenath, S Ray, Keyur Thaker and A Kanagaraj – of irregularities including arbitrary appointments and regularization of contractual employees in violation of norms, the sources said.
