CORE Education and Technologies (earlier known as CORE Projects & Technologies) has bagged its second large contract from Gujarat Govt. to implement Computer Aided Learning (CAL) in 3,236 Primary Schools for Rs. 1.24 billion.

The company is already present in 645 schools in Gujarat through an earlier Information & Communication Technology (ICT) contract. The company has also bagged similar CAL & ICT contracts for 2,622 schools in Haryana, 1,250 in Punjab, 947 in Maharashtra, 267 in Meghalaya and 73 schools in Nagaland.

The company recently changed its name to reflect its focus on education sector. It was founded in 2003 and is present in India, US, UK, Africa and Caribbean. It has around 1000 employees worldwide and provides IT products and solutions for K12, higher education and vocational training courses.
